We champion the Christian Value of 'Service'

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

Galatians 5:13

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Mark 10:45

2M’s PE days are

Book Bags

Your child is expected to bring their book bag to school on Tuesday and Friday. On Tuesday we collect your child’s Oxford Reading Tree book back in and they may pick any book from our classroom library. On a Friday we collect the Library book in and replace it with the Oxford Reading Tree book that your child has read during their week at school. Some children will be starting to read longer/chapter books, so if they want to keep their library book for longer they just need to let their teaching know when they are doing their book swaps.

On a Friday we will check that homework is completed. Children who have shown enthusiasm and effort in completing their homework will receive a smiley face on our class chart. We will also have our spelling tests. They will then be given new homework and spellings for the week ahead. Our Spellings for the term can be found below.

On Friday’s we will also practise our mental maths which will include a times table or number bond test- the mental maths that your child is learning will be in the ‘Maths’ part of their homework sheet.
